When changing settings in the client portal, it can be done at multiple levels (Client, Rep, Broker Dealer). When you are changing settings please be mindful what level you are selecting before making the following changes.
Scenarios when portal settings may need to be adjusted if performance/asset values are not appearing correctly:
Issue: Accounts are not appearing in the portal
Solution: In the settings tab, change the settings titled "Sidebar Accounts" and "Displayed Accounts" to show "All Accounts" or "Active Accounts". Most of the time, this issue arises when these settings are set to only show "Accounts with Value".
Issue: Unmanaged accounts not appearing in portal
Solution: In the settings tab, change the setting "Show Unmanaged Accounts" to "On". Accounts under the clients household which are marked as unmanaged will now appear in the portal.
Issue: An asset which has moved from one account to another looks off in portal performance.
Solution: In the settings tab, change the setting "Consolidate Holdings" to "On". When this setting is turned on, this will aggregate holdings by ticker so that a security's performance history will be combined if it is moved from an account to another.
